Big Red Bad Call Brick

Last night during the NU vs Mizzou game, before the Husker’s comeback against the Tigers matched the largest fourth-quarter comeback in school history, there was quite a bit of tension among Nebraska fans.  Discussion involved talking about a “Big Red Brick” that one remembered from his college days – a red foam life-like brick complete with holes that one could throw at the TV when a bad play was called. So today after 27-12 win, I decided to see if I could find such brick for the next game.

I think this Purdue Bad Call Foam Brick ($3.99 from CollegeGear.com) is exactly what I’m looking for, except, well, it’s Yellow and says Purdue!

Here’s what I came up with so far for some alternatives…

The Bad Call Brick, a standard size foam rubber brick, available for $6.99 from HuskerVideo.com, but appears it would work for any team/sport.

Another alternative would be buying a plain phony brick (only $1.49 from Things You Never Knew Existed…) and painting on the words of your choice.

Now I’m considering ordering my own Corporate Logo Foam Bricks to promote this website and hand out – who would want one??

Nebraska Cornhuskers Mr Potato Head

To think I was impressed when Hasbro created a Mrs. Potato Head to give Mr. Potato Head some companionship.  Now they make several renditions from Star Wars Potato Head to Indiana Jones Potato Head.  I was updating a list of Sport Mr. Potato Heads and saw they now make NCAA Mr Potato Heads!
