She is one of the most decorated volleyball players to come out of the Katy area earning the Gatorade player of the year as a junior and a senior. She was the no. 3 overall prospect by PrepVolleyball.com in the class of 2018 and the no. 2 outside hitter in the class.

Ally became a four-time all-state player for her Texas High School volleyball team. She earned 8th place at the state tournament her junior year. Her senior year, she led her team to their first-ever regional championship title, where they finished as state runner-ups.
Ally’s successful high school volleyball career earned her a scholarship from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Ally Batenhorst has a tall order with the Nebraska volleyball team this year. The Texas native, who can play all positions on both offense and defense, will be expected from day one to compete for playing time as an outside hitter.
